Carlotta Bonnecaze was an Art Deco era female Mardi Gras designer, so it felt right to make one of her gorgeous costumes to go with my floats. This costume probably would have been for a Mardi Gras ball in real life, where no expense was spared to make fantastical designs come to life. I loved making her fancy outfit and her glitter wings.
