This concept of a rock garden grabbed me from the start, since it’s so different from the lush tropical gardens of New Orleans. The rocks are made with various techniques from hand painted egg carton pieces to painted and heated Tyvek. The water is made with my personal collage method that involves heat, ribbon scraps, metallic organza and layers of fuseable glue sheets.
