"I met Myrlande in her atelier years ago, before her current notoriety. She was a gracious hostess, and was happy to show me the drapo that were being worked on by her and her family.  Her easy manner and somewhat bashful demeanor in no way matched with her extraordinary artistry. The sheer magnificence of her creations, along with the astonishing way in which they are sewn, made for a memorable visit each time. Her artistic vision has now been recognized and rewarded but it still makes me happy to think of us taking a coffee and conversing about life on a hot day in Carrefour-Feuilles." G.G.
